How do you make an impact as a Technical writer?

Within Ellips, you will work with software developers and your colleagues in the Support department, on the world’s most advanced optical grading technology and Software with Deep Learning and AI algorithms that helps fruit and vegetable growers and packers worldwide with lightning-fast and highly accurate grading.
The technology is integrated with sorting and packaging machines from our sister companies Elisam and Elifab. The final product are advanced grading machines with high-tech cameras that capture each piece of fruit or vegetable with up to 90 images. With light transmittance technology, we can even see completely through the produce. We see tiny details that no one else can see. Based on this input, we grade the produce by color, weight, size, shelf life, sweetness, external and internal quality, among others.

What are you going to do?

You create documentation for end customers, partners and third parties who want to integrate our software via our APIs. You ensure clarity, uniformity and structure and manage external translators. You ensure that the systems to organize and maintain all this remain up-to-date.

What else is important?

• A completed relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
• Experience with authoring tools, experience with Oxygen XML and GIT is an advantage.
• Experience with topic-based authoring.
• Experience with publishing DITA information in formats such as PDF, HTML and help files.
• Passion for both your profession and technical software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented work attitude.
